About
Visual Breathing is a tool that counts a breathing rhythm on screen so you do not have to. This page covers who makes and runs it, and what it has been decided this tool will not do.
Who makes and runs this?
LumenTree makes and runs it — a one-person project building small web tools meant to last.

What does it not do?
What this tool will not do describes it better than a feature list does.
- No accounts. No sign-up, no login.
- Your settings are not sent to a server. The seconds and the wording stay in your browser. Those values never reach us.
- No history is kept. It does not count how many days in a row you have done this, or how many minutes you have put in. When a session ends, the numbers sit on screen for a moment and that is all.
- No notifications. You will not be asked to come back.
- No health claims. This is a timer. It does not tell you what it is good for.
Was AI used to build this?
Yes. Much of the code and writing on this site was produced together with an AI (Claude). The explanatory text started as AI drafts and was edited by a person.
Two things follow from that.
- A person checks whether things are true. Sentences about safety in particular are never left as the AI wrote them.
- The line about making no health claims is written down. Every time the text is edited, it is checked against that line.
Errors may still be in here. If you find one, please tell us.
Found something wrong?
One email is enough: contact-breath@lumen-tree.com
Just say which page and which sentence, and it will be checked and fixed. The date of the fix shows up under "Last updated" at the bottom of each page.
